We are able to service all makes of fire extinguisher to BS5306 standard. All our engineers are BAFE qualified and approved to inspect and maintain portable fire extinguishers.
Employers have a legal responsibility to ensure that fire extinguishers are serviced on an annual basis within a workplace and kept in a good working order.
If your business employs five people or more they must maintain a written record of servicing, maintenance and inspections and store this in a fire log book.
Our fully qualified engineers are able to provide standard and extended fire extinguisher servicing. An extended service, also know as a discharge test must be carried out at the following intervals:
- Every 5 years - for foam, water, dry powder or wet chemical extinguishers
- Every 10 years - for CO2 extinguishers
We have a fully automated reminder service that ensures you keep up with annual tests. All our testing results are stored on a secure database with certification provided.
